Throwing Porcelain

Throw fine porcelain work on plaster bats. The work will dry and pop off the plaster base when ready for turning.

Prevent S-Crack

Centre and compress your clay once, then cut from wheelhead, turn upside down and centre again. The base becomes more highly compressed, thus preventing cracking. A proven technique.
