I work in a purpose designed studio overlooking Sherbrooke Forest in the Dandenong Ranges accompanied by bird song and gentle light filtering through the tree ferns and mountain ash.
Most of my work is gas reduction fired functional stoneware pottery decorated with combinations of different glazes. Each piece has a unique quality which comes from unpredictable interactions between different glaze layers.
Inspiration for form and decoration comes from nature, artists, tradition, dreams, imagination and play – the mind is seldom far from clay.
My work is sold through selected galleries throughout Australia and studio visits are welcome by appointment.
