I’ve been working on this Iraq war theme for over three years now and, frankly, I wish it would go away. However, there seems to be no end to the devastation being inflicted on the Iraqi people and to my cynicism regarding the motives for this war.
My work has ranged from colourful wheel thrown tea-sets and butter bells to hand built caricatures of our glorious leaders and more recently Raku fired war trophies, commemorative jugs, platters and teapots.
My little Gocco screens, used to print the newspaper decals, are wearing out and I hope to move on to a more up lifting theme soon!
