Graeme Wilkie

After thirty years in the pursuit of ceramic knowledge and travelling to many of the ceramic mecca's of the world . I have concluded ANAGAMA wood firing its procedures, its aesthetic and its beauty are ,by far, the choice of the ' aware' connoisseur of the potters art. The subtly of the fly ash mixed with the right temperatures and right atmosphere's can produce the prefect balance of the elements. Then coupled with the balanced heart , head and hand of the potter.

The best work from an anagama kiln can be a real testimony of skill of the potter. A real statement of the harmonic use of the tools of the potter ; Earth & fire.

# Wilkie's studio is a centre for training young studio potters interested in wood firing.
