Gary Healey

My work focusses on exploring the technical and artistic limits of porcelain. I am always taking risks and pushing the boundaries. My work is thrown on the wheel then altered when wet. I try to focus on pure forms and lines and surface treatments which which accentuate the form and line.

The pieces below are from my most recent body of work Shell Fragments - In Memory. Photography by Terence Bogue. These pieces are made with Walkers SWP porcelain, reduction fired to cone 10 then spray-painted.
