Kaye Poulton I first handled clay as a child growing up in Bendigo. I knew then that I loved the feel, the malleability of clay. I completed a two year diploma of applied art specializing in ceramics at Bendigo in the mid eighties and achieved the highest aggregate in that course. Since then it has been a long learning curve and I am still learning. I make detailed figurative work concentrating on body language and facial expression. I also enjoy the rigors of the pottery wheel and the excitement of raku firing.
